While I'm sad that my app won't be available anymore, I've taken great pride seeing so many people enjoy my work during the time it had. The app could be useful without art, but not without card text, so he effectively trash canned my work. If Isaac didn't want to take over my app for Frosthaven, other developers would – one already added Frosthaven features! Instead, without any discussion, Isaac demanded that I remove his game's art and card text. I still continued to maintain my app and support its users. Later, I declined (and had never agreed to) building an app for Frosthaven, as maintaining two apps would double my effort. For me to provide his players an app for his game, Isaac required I pay 10% of sales to use his game's art and card text, adding licensing terms retroactively. Desktop and web remained free, but I charged for iOS and to remove ads on Android. After adding 2 expansions, 12 languages, and supporting over 150,000 users, I felt it was reasonable to be compensated to continue the effort.
